EASTICA was established in 1993 as the East Asian regional branch of the International Council on Archives, an international non-governmental organization of institutions and persons related to archives. The 10th EASTICA General Conference and Seminar is held in Tokyo this year. The theme of the Seminar is access and preservation of information, records and archives in the Digital Age, and legal systems which support them.
